Atrómitos was established in September 2016 by Michealle Gady, as a boutique consulting firm with the imperative mission of creating healthier, more resilient, and more equitable communities. The firm consists of a small team of experts working to effect real change for and alongside diverse innovators, entrepreneurs, and health and community champions. Atrómitos is Greek for “fearless.” This word encompasses what we strive to accomplish for our clients – to provide “fearless” strategic guidance and support.
The term is also something of a talisman for the firm, reminding us that to be great, one must be fearless. After decades in health law and policy, Michealle saw an opportunity to create a modern work model that better supports professionals—especially women—by designing a platform where they can collaborate with organizations doing meaningful work alongside people passionately committed to improving their communities.
